Akerman wanted to refresh its brand, which featured a limited color palette. Noting how Akerman was growing, Odgis + Co introduced “The Hinge,” which gave added dimension to the original red Akerman square, folding it out into space. The Hinge element was versatile, capable of being used alone or attached to the logo. We created a set of templates for the firm’s ads, brochures, emails and PowerPoint presentations; additional colors and a secondary font also gave the brand a fresh feel.
