Rebranding ESU: 100 Years

English Speaking Union

Animated Blue and Turquoise ESU Logo for ESU Celebrating their 100 Year Anniversary

The English-Speaking Union, a global organization, is celebrating 100 years in the USA as a catalyst for fostering global understanding and good will. Through workshops and interviews we established messaging and a blueprint for moving forward into their next hundred years.

They achieve this by:
Expanding minds
Strengthening friendships
Unlocking opportunities

The goal was to strengthen the brand by making it contemporary and relevant for the new generations. The logo mark is based a speech bubble symbolizing a conversation.

ESU USA shares common letter forms (S and U) in different positions forming a visual connection and exchange of ideas. The stacked “S’s" suggest an alignment while the diagonal “U’s" are coming from different perspectives.

"Odgis & Co created a fresh exciting new logo for the English Speaking Union of the United States. Launched in our Centennial Year it positioned us for the future yet kept us grounded in our rich history."
