Paramount 2021 ESG Report

Our goal in designing the 2021 Paramount ESG Report was to enliven the brand visually and bring to life in vivid detail their culture and the quality of their portfolio. This year’s content-heavy report is designed and structured to make the information engaging and accessible to the reader. To this end, we created three distinct sections of the book for Environmental, Social, and Governance, which have dynamic section openers, each using a large bleed photograph deconstructed by a giant letterform of the E, S, and G. Using a color-coded, interactive navigation system, we empower the reader to quickly find the information they’re looking for. We also expanded Paramount’s color palette, which was originally all neutral colors, to bring vibrancy to the page. Our infographics clarify their narrative and allow the reader to absorb dense information with the help of our illustrations and custom icons.
 
Paramount is recognized as an industry leader in ESG and has a reputation of operating with integrity. Their 2021 achievements include:
• They have achieved, for the third consecutive year, GRESB’s highest accolades of a 5 Star rating in the 2021 Real Estate Assessment and an “A” rating in the Public Disclosure Survey.
• They have maintained industry-leading recognition of operating a REIT portfolio
comprised of 100% LEED Gold or Platinum certified buildings. 
• They have achieved 2021 ENERGY STAR labels across 100% of their REIT portfolio, spanning 11.3 million square feet.
• They have achieved Fitwel certification across 10 properties aggregating approximately nine million square feet, and were honored with the “Fitwel Champion” status for their efforts.

Their high-quality, efficient, and sustainable assets are a key differentiator that resonates with tenants, shareholders, and the community.
