Rolex held its Mentor and Protege Arts Initiative Gala last night at Lincoln Center. The event pairs extraordinary, rising artists from around the world with great masters for a year of creative collaboration in a one-to-one mentoring relationship. Past mentors include director Martin Scorsese and Tony-award winning director Julie Thaymor. We created the invitations, programs, and menus which were inspired by the lobby architecture of Lincoln Center's David H. Kotch Theater. The design suggests the merging of mentor and protege along their journey.
